ABOUT ADVANCED HEALTH & EDUCATION
Located in Eatontown, New Jersey, Advanced Health & Education (AHE) provides a partial hospitalization program (PHP) and intensive (IOP) and standard outpatient programs for adults and adolescents struggling with substance use disorders. Our rehab center in Monmouth County emphasizes long-term, personalized care. We offer specialized treatment options such as a professional track, LGBT-supportive programming, and creative therapies. AHE is operated by Sprout Health Group, which also provides intensive treatment programs at Cedar Point Recovery in Sacramento, California.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
Prior to admission, prospective clients will undergo an initial phone assessment to determine the most appropriate and individualized treatment program. This assessment takes into account substance use and family histories. Although Advanced Health & Education does not directly provide detoxification services, our staff can assist in arranging treatment and supportive housing at recommended local facilities.
Counseling sessions, both individually and in groups, are essential components of treatment at AHE. We employ cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) as a primary therapeutic approach. Our facility also offers a variety of alternative therapies, including chiropractic, yoga, guided meditation, physical fitness, and drama. Dual diagnosis treatment is available to address co-occurring addiction and other mood and behavioral health disorders. Additionally, we offer 12-step facilitation. The focus is on helping clients establish support networks.
Advanced Health & Education offers three levels of outpatient care, ranging from four to 30 hours per week. Outpatient programs are held in the evenings, while intensive outpatient programs typically run from 45 days to 16 weeks.
Aside from general addiction treatment, we provide several focused programming options either as separate tracks or as additional group therapy. These include trauma-care, Buddhist principles, first responders, licensed professionals such as doctors and pilots, and specific age groups. Case management services are available to address legal and employment issues.
Aftercare services are offered, including ongoing monitoring, participation in alumni support groups, and engagement in social events.

Advanced Health & Education is led by an executive director who holds a master’s degree in counseling and licensing in acupuncture. Our programs are facilitated by a team of master’s-level therapists, certified drug and alcohol counselors, social workers, and case managers. We also have consulting psychiatrists and psychologists who contribute to dual diagnosis treatment. The facility maintains a staff-to-client ratio of 3:1.
