ABOUT CARLSON RECOVERY CENTER IN SPRINGFIELD, MA

Carlson Recovery Center, located in Springfield, Mass., offers detoxification treatment to adult men and women (18 years or older) who are struggling with substance abuse or dual diagnosis. The facility also provides court-ordered services to individuals convicted of driving under the influence (DUI) offenses.

Carlson Recovery Center operates as a subsidiary of Behavioral Health Network, Inc., which has four other locations in Massachusetts, including the Hope Center in Springfield, and offers a wide range of community services including residential and outpatient addiction treatment.

TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT

To be admitted, clients may either contact the facility directly by phone or fill out an online contact form. Clients may remain in treatment at Carlson Recovery Center for up to nine days. Many clients use the acute treatment services at Carlson as a first step before proceeding to residential or outpatient treatment at other facilities.

The facility’s treatment program is medically monitored, meaning that it focuses on providing medication to ease withdrawal symptoms in the early stages of recovery. Throughout treatment, clients receive medication to ease physical withdrawal symptoms, 24-hour nursing care and monitoring, and counseling to support them through the early stages of recovery.

Treatment is offered in both Spanish and English, and clients who need an interpreter for other languages will be accommodated. Although anyone aged 18 or older is eligible for treatment at the facility, Carlson Recovery Center prioritizes admission for individuals with HIV/AIDS, pregnant or postpartum women, and clients with a dual diagnosis.

  • knowledgable, staff are welcoming and supportive, the stay approved was way to short, client needed much more time. The Carlton House was great! I believe it was for detox and then the client moved on to the Hope center for rehab. The rehab time is much too short for a client to receive treatment that is lasting. The rehab treatment should be a minimum of 60 days plus.

It could take you in fairly quickly. Clean. Only kept you a short time. Then released to use again. My loved one went through there at least 5 times or more. He died two months ago of an overdose.
