U-Turn for Christ – Lexington is a faith-based, residential drug and alcohol treatment program utilizing biblical principles to assist adult men and women in overcoming addiction by developing a stronger relationship with God. U-Turn for Christ – Lexington is a Christian residential recovery center that provides residential treatment for men aged 18+ who are struggling with substance abuse. It is one of 14 U-Turn for Christ facilities in the United States, with additional locations in California, New Mexico, Tennessee, and New Jersey, as well as worldwide. Situated in a semi-rural area 20 miles southwest of Columbia, South Carolina, U-Turn for Christ – Lexington offers a serene setting conducive to healing.
Please note that U-Turn for Christ does not provide detox services, and new clients must have been sober for 24 hours prior to admission. This facility accepts court referrals.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
The program consists of two phases: Phase One lasts two months, and Phase Two lasts six months. While Phase Two is optional, it is strongly encouraged for participants. However, court-referred clients must complete the full eight-month program.
During Phase One, men engage in up to five Bible study sessions daily, as well as volunteer work and chores. In Phase Two, participants work, learn to budget their money, and practice living within their means while still participating in two daily Bible studies. This phase of treatment serves to provide residents with a safety net while they apply the knowledge and skills gained in the program to real-world situations.
Residents are engaged in programming from 5:30 a.m. to 10 p.m..

Clients are also required to abstain from all tobacco products during treatment.
