ABOUT THE INSIGHT PROGRAM
The Insight Program is a private treatment center for teenagers and young adults between the ages of 13 and 25 struggling with substance abuse issues. In operation since 1987, Insight provides teens and young adults with an array of residential and outpatient programs in Georgia as well as North Carolina.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
Insight arranges its 12-step based residential and outpatient programs according to age and level of intensity. At all levels, treatment is designed to help teens and young adults address problems caused by substance abuse, deal with peer pressure, and identify relapse triggers. Insight also considers parental support and involvement a crucial component to a client’s successful recovery.
Depending on their specific needs, teens (ages 13 to 17) and young adults (ages 18 to 25) have treatment options to choose from including intensive outpatient program (IOP), and traditional outpatient tracks. Programs vary according to the amount of time clients spend in one-on-one, group, and family therapy sessions, as well as aftercare.
For those requiring care in a more structured environment, Insight works in partnership with Step Two Recovery Center to provide a 45-day long residential treatment program. In two separate tracks, teens and young adults are given a solid foundation to recovery in a safe and sober living environment. Upon graduation, clients are supported through comprehensive discharge and aftercare plans.
STAFF CREDENTIALS
Insight’s staff primarily consists of certified alcohol and drug counselors (CDACs) who are specially trained to work with teens and young adults. Staff receive ongoing training to provide effective counseling.
ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES
Through its partnership with Step Two, the co-ed residential facility houses up to eight teens at a time.
