  • I'm very thankful for love and support they showed me. I have been clean and sober for 123 days, and I would not change a thing. Thank you recovery works. My hats off to the staff especially they chose to help for that I'm thankful. The problem lies within.
This place is awful. No consistency. I left ama due to not even being able to get sanitary products and treated hostile. As I left an RA said you will die. Unbelievable. Very disappointed. By the way I am sober and very much alive. No thanks to recovery works Mayfield.

  • If you actually care about your love one and their recovery this isn't the place for them. May daughter was there for one day and was ate up by bed bugs. They refused to let her call me and she walked in over 100 degree weather to get to a phone. Even her counselor she said was rude and mean. The have a list of protocols they will inforce, but they don't tell you what they are. So if for some reason his is your ONLY option I would request copies of all the papers that are signed at that time and the handbook with rules (which we never received). The Dollar General off the exit (the closets store) even said it was a joke and that was the worse place to send anyone. They didn't even know how it was still open. By the way my daughter was detoxed for 8 days when I drove her there, so it wasn't a detox issue. She was clean and sober and knew everything going on. Worse detox place I have ever taken too!!!
I cannot say enough about Recovery Works! It saved my life! The staff is wonderful! If you really help this is the place to go!!

  • DO NOT LEAVE your loved one in the care of this facility. My daughter signed an ROI for me, her mother. They would ignore my calls and my daughter walked out on 2/20th and I have not heard from anyone. They also have all of her belongings. They were not professional or pleasant in the conversations I did get to have with them.
I think this place is a danger to addicts and is putting peoples lives at risk. You are a product to these people, not a human being.

  • It was generally a good facility.
I showed up thinking this place and people would help me but it was far from that. Recovery works thinks of their clients as basically A price tag. Most of the time not even enough beds or food for people to eat. if you choose to leave which people did they won't even let you use their phone. My experience was not good and I understand when your in treatment it's hard but they do the bare minimum and make the experience worse
