In the exclusive seaside towns of Newport Beach and Huntington Beach, Hotel California provides comprehensive care for substance abuse and stress reduction. Our treatment options are available to professional men, mature women, and young adults through residential and outpatient programs. We specialize in providing gender-specific treatment, and medical detoxification is offered at an off-site location.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
Each client receives a customized treatment plan based on their unique needs. Our programs are primarily based on the 12-Steps, supplemented with holistic approaches. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), case manager sessions, group therapy, individual therapy, and 12-step meetings are integral components of our treatment. We offer specialized programs for male executives, women in our Sandy’s Place trauma-based program, and young adults, which includes additional therapies such as equine-assisted therapy, adventure therapy, and psychodrama.
Hotel California also provides a Career Resource Program, a structured family program, and continuing care services to support clients after completion of treatment. Our Career Resource Center assists clients with job searches and educational opportunities as they transition back into everyday life.
STAFF CREDENTIALS
Our staff includes a multidisciplinary team of physicians, psychiatrists, psychologists, licensed therapists, addiction counselors, a registered dietitian, a massage and wellness specialist, an acupuncturist, a tai chi instructor, and executive chefs.
ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES
Our residential accommodations are deluxe, spacious, and resort-like. Each home has a chef, private or shared rooms, balconies and patios, beach access, cable TV, and Internet access. In Sandy’s Place, women receive additional therapeutic services such as Swedish massage, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, yoga on the beach, and access to a gym. AA meetings are held on our facility’s yacht, the Orca Too, on Saturday mornings.
