ABOUT FAIRWINDS TREATMENT CENTER

TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT

At Fairwinds Treatment Center, clients receive personalized treatment plans that address their primary disorder as well as any co-occurring disorders they may have. Each client has regular individual sessions with doctors, therapists, nutritionists, and psychiatrists. Medication and talk therapy are combined with group, art, and family therapy. The program incorporates various evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), nutrition counseling, meal planning, fitness and wellness groups, and relapse prevention.

The center utilizes the 12-Steps as the foundation for long-term addiction recovery and encourages families to actively participate in their loved one’s recovery. It offers specific therapy and group sessions for families.

Fairwinds Treatment Center takes an innovative approach to eating disorders, employing a “non-diet” methodology and specializing in male and adolescent eating disorders. Treatment includes journaling, menu planning, intuitive eating, and experiential activities such as dining out at restaurants.

Fairwinds Treatment Center Reviews

Money makers and they don't care about you or your family. They accepted my daughter from out of state and I paid for her to go down to Florida. Once they suspected the insurance might not be covering, my daughter was Baker acted and sent to the hospital for no reason. She was released in 24 hours from the hospital and Fairwinds refused to take her back leaving her homeless in an area and state she is not familiar with. I am having to pay for a hotel for her and having to flight down to get her. Avoid this place.
Strengths: Great conselors, lots of educational material, group support. However, it is expensive. Get treatment. It will be the best decision you can ever make. You can get help for the disease of addiction/alcoholism.
Great counseling, meals. Expensive. Excellent plans for rehab and recovery.
Staff was a strength of the facility but the knowledge was a downfall.
The caring staff was a strength of the facility, but they are disorganized at times. They have a robust program set: Programs and Services Treatment Programs Adult Residential Detox Program Dual Diagnosis Eating Disorder Psychiatric Residential
