ABOUT BALTIMORE RECOVERY COMMUNITY CENTER

A program of H.O.P.E. Inc. Wellness and Recovery Center in Downtown Baltimore, the Baltimore Recovery Community Center (RCC) provides free outpatient services for adults and families faced with addiction. Per the program’s webpage, the RCC is “open to anyone looking to recover from drug and alcohol addiction. It is a place where peers support and encourage each other.” Detox services are not offered here.

TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT

The RCC offers a wide variety of services to help individuals overcome their addiction, get sober, and learn how to maintain a rewarding life in recovery. Services include separate men’s and women’s support groups, 12-step recovery meetings, smoking cessation classes, recreational activities, assistance with basic computer skills, job search assistance, and more.

According to the RCC’s brochure, program participants may also take part in yoga, meditation, and tai chi.

STAFF CREDENTIALS

Per the program’s webpage, senior staff includes a master’s level social worker, a licensed graduate social worker, and a licensed clinical social worker.

Best-rehabs.com has yet to receive any reviews from this facility’s alumni, though a pair of loved ones shared mostly positive feedback. Both describing the treatment team as caring and supportive, these reviewers gave the program’s staff support/staff’s level and training perfect five star-ratings. They also both awarded RCC five out of five stars for its counseling options and holistic offerings, one adding: “they have a wonderful program, including group and individual sessions.” Both agreed regarding the facility’s food, one of whom referred to it as “horrible.”
