HOPE Center North

HOPE Center North Mason Ohio

At the Lindner Center of HOPE, we understand that addiction is a disease. When struggling with Substance use disorders (SUDs), like so many medical conditions, a patient often needs a combination of medical care and professional support to manage it.

That’s why we’ve assembled a strong team of dedicated addiction specialists who create individualized plans for each of our patients. Plans may include medication-assisted treatment, therapy, support groups, combined with other comprehensive methods, like treating for possible underlying issues, such as depression or anxiety.

Because the most effective treatments treat the whole person, we can also help our patients with related medical concerns, like pregnancy while addicted, HIV and STDs and other conditions by connecting them with resources in the community or working collaboratively with other healthcare providers. We even offer resources to help our patients get back on track in their everyday life, recovery skills building and even linkage to vocation, education and employment assistance.

ABOUT HOPE CENTER NORTH

Located in the community of Mason, Ohio, 22 miles northeast of Cincinnati, Hope Center North provides a range of outpatient-based treatment services for adults struggling with chemical dependency, as well as co-occurring mental health concerns.A service of the Lindner Center of Hope, a local treatment provider, the facility offers an intensive outpatient program (IOP), support groups, and a medication-assisted treatment (MAT) program for individuals recovering from opioid addiction.

TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT

To identify individual client needs, clients first participate in an initial assessment before beginning treatment. The assessment also ensures the outpatient level of care is appropriate. If a client is struggling with opioid addiction, the individual may be referred to the facility’s MAT program. However, separate walk-in assessments are also available on weekday mornings for individuals interesting in enrolling into Hope Center North’s Suboxone or methadone maintenance program.

If an individual requires a heightened level of structure during early recovery, the clients may be referred to Hope Center North’s intensive outpatient program. IOP requires clients to attend three evening sessions per week on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Each sessions lasts three hours, and IOP typically lasts for approximately 12 weeks. Clients enrolled in IOP may also also participate in MAT concurrently. The medication regimens are designed to alleviate withdrawal symptoms and help curb cravings associated with opioid dependency.

Hope Center North utilizes a range of therapeutic approaches in IOP, including motivational interviewing (MI), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT). These evidence-based approaches help clients to set obtainable goals, identify irrational thinking patterns, and modify addictive behavior. During IOP, clients participate in mainly group counseling sessions, though individual and family counseling sessions may be incorporated into programming. The facility also offers consultations with loved ones to involve them in the recovery process.

Along with counseling sessions, clients attend psychoeducational classes that may address the disease model of addiction, relapse prevention strategies, and specific co-occurring concerns, such as anxiety or depression, that may contribute to addictive behavior. In addition, Hope Center North holds 12-Step meetings and other self-help group meetings, such as SMART Recovery, on-site.

To help its diverse population, Hope Center North offers referrals to community-based resources to assist pregnant clients, as well as those with HIV, STDs, or other medical-related concerns. In addition, the facility may offer individuals with co-occurring mental health concerns the appropriate referrals to receive psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management. Before the client completes IOP, the facility also helps to form comprehensive discharge plans, which may include linkages to vocational training, education, and employment opportunities.
