TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
Potential clients can access treatment by going to one of TCN’s walk-in clinics in the county. Treatment typically lasts 60 days.
The program uses elements of the 12-step program along with cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and reality therapy, which focuses on problem solving and making good choices in pursuit of specific goals. There’s also practical programming designed to prepare residents for life after treatment, focusing on areas such as developing coping skills, preventing relapse, life skills training, and parenting classes. The center also provides access to GED classes and vocational counseling, as well as psychiatric assessments and case management services.
For individuals who are struggling with addiction to opioids, a Suboxone program is available.
Following graduation, each client is monitored to ensure that he’s employed, in stable housing, and has a healthy sober network in his community. TCN also provides sober-living services for those clients who require them.
