ABOUT UNISON BEHAVIORAL HEALTH GROUP
Unison Behavioral Health Group has been providing comprehensive addiction and mental health treatment services for individuals and families in Northwest Ohio for over 40 years. As a nonprofit organization accredited by The Joint-Commission, Unison operates alcohol and drug treatment programs for adolescents and adults. Medication assisted treatment (MAT) for opiate addictions is available at this facility, which is one of 325 nonprofit facilities in Ohio.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
After completing an initial intake process, adults and adolescents (ages 11 to 18) struggling with addiction can access age-specific programs. Additionally, there is a Dual Recovery track for individuals with co-occurring disorders, making it one of 182 facilities in the state to provide this service.
The treatment programming for adults utilizes the Matrix Model, which is designed to help clients develop sober and healthy lifestyles. Adult clients can expect one-on-one, family, and group therapy sessions, case management services, as well as specialized groups that focus on parenting, codependency, and trauma.
To assist teens in their recovery journey, the facility takes a “whole person” approach and collaborates closely with parents, schools, and the juvenile court system. Teen programming primarily consists of individual and group counseling.
