Families are included in the adolescent treatment program through weekly family sessions, and Lake Area Recovery Center also offers intervention training for concerned loved ones. Lake Area Recovery Center provides unique consideration to pregnant women who would like residential care, and allows newborns to stay in residence at Turning Point with their mothers until they have successfully completed treatment.
The CHOICES program for perpetrators of domestic violence usually involves six to twelve adults who have been referred by the court system, and meets weekly for 12 weeks. Choices provides participants with education and information to help them cope with problems that lead to violence.
