TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
Individuals seeking admission should call their local QAM facility. Prior to admission, clients must undergo a physical examination and complete an initial intake history assessment. Most Quality Addiction Management facilities are open from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday, and from 7 AM to 10 AM on Saturdays.
The facility’s treatment program utilizes methadone to eliminate cravings and physical withdrawal symptoms. Methadone, a synthetic opiate, is administered orally under the supervision of medical doctors. According to QAM, methadone treatment may cause manageable mild side effects. In addition to receiving prescribed methadone, clients participate in individual and group therapy, treatment planning, health counseling, a yearly physical examination, and urine drug testing.
Treatment aims to ensure client comfort, facilitate recovery, eliminate cravings and drug use, and improve various aspects of life functioning such as employment, family relationships, and physical and emotional health. Quality Addiction Management operates in a confidential environment reminiscent of a private medical practice.
