The teaching hospital offers both inpatient and outpatient treatment programs. The center offers treatment to those struggling with substance abuse, as well as mental health disorders. TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT

According to Loma Linda University’s website, its chemical dependency program is designed for adults and is consistent with the guidelines of the American Society of Addiction Medicine.

All programming is founded on 12-step treatment principles, and there are tiers of available treatment that vary in intensity. Services include inpatient rehab, half-day outpatient, full-day outpatient, and intensive outpatient.

Intake nurses conduct confidential assessments that help determine the appropriate course of treatment for each client. Those who graduate from inpatient and outpatient care may access aftercare, alumni activities, and sober living accommodations through the center.
