ABOUT MILESTONES RANCH MALIBU
Luxury retreat Milestones Ranch Malibu in California provides residential, day, and outpatient treatment to adult men and women dealing with substance abuse and co-occurring disorders. Detoxification is not offered on-site.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
During the admission process, a physician will review the client’s medical history and complete a medical examination. Clients will undergo an assessment with an addiction psychiatrist.
Milestones Ranch Malibu implements evidence-based treatments like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) with educational programs on topics like grief and trauma, relapse prevention, and group, individual, and family therapy. Clients can attend 18 different groups and optional 12-step meetings.
Clients will meet individually with clinicians five times per week. A psychiatrist and medical physician will follow up with clients one a week.
Following graduation, clients can participate in outpatient services for one-to-five days per week.
Graduates of the residential program are eligible for a free week-long “tune-up” when a bed is available. Alumni also have access to lifetime weekly alumni support group meetings. Free day treatment provides graduates with a urinary drug screening (UDS) and support every Sunday.
STAFF CREDENTIALS
Milestones Ranch Malibu employs 40 staff members including licensed master’s and doctoral-level clinicians, psychologists, and social workers.
ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES
Settled on 120 acres of tranquil California soil, Milestones Ranch Malibu accommodates up to 12 clients at one time. An on-site chef prepares food for residents. Official photographs of the facility show boats, open outdoor spaces, and hiking trails.

FINANCING
Milestones Ranch Malibu accepts insurance. The facility also works with a medical billing company to reimburse clients and facilitates access to loan companies for those in need of financial assistance.
