ABOUT STANISLAUS RECOVERY CENTER

Stanislaus Recovery Center (SRC) in Ceres, Calif., part of Stanislaus County Behavioral Health and Recovery Services, provides various levels of treatment for individuals seeking treatment for substance abuse and co-occurring disorders. Situated in a peaceful, natural setting, the facility offers residential and outpatient programs. SRC is also one of the 216 facilities (15.1% of facilities) in California that offers detoxification services.

TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT

SRC combines a social model treatment program with 12-Step immersion to develop a foundation for long-term sobriety. Treatment is individualized, and clients have an initial substance abuse and psychological assessment to determine the most appropriate level of care. The 12-Step fellowship is a common treatment practice that can be found in 47.7% of U.S. facilities.

The residential program is a short-term treatment, specialized and designed to be the most effective for clients that relapsed and/or have been resistant to other types of treatment. In the program, clients work with case managers to coordinate treatments and monitor clients’ progress. Clients often begin with the residential detox portion of treatment which lasts up to 72 hours. During residential treatment, clients participate in individual and group counseling and 12-Step.

Outpatient options include day treatment, which is typically used as a step-down from residential care and an intensive outpatient program (IOP). All clients who successfully complete the residential and/or outpatient programs are eligible for free aftercare.

In the aftercare program, clients meet in groups for up to one hour at least once per week. There is also a drop-in center which is run by volunteers. The center provides support for clients transitioning out of care including resume writing services and financial assistance services.

  • Caring staff, knowledgeable, well trained, friendly, one on one counseling, offers allot of good information, well kept & clean, proper food. Safe. However needs more counselors, needs more funding, lacks spiritual or religious inclusion, counselors should be able to express their own views to help with giving encouragement. Upgrades in some of the equipment. It's a good place to start your recovery journey & to get a foundation of sobriety. Offers allot of information & tools to help one stay sober after leaving treatment. In my experience everything was positive..
