Ascend Healthcare is a luxury residential rehab center for adolescents located in a beautiful facility in Encino, California, nestled in the Santa Monica Mountains. TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
At Ascend, we believe in holistic rehabilitation and involve the entire family whenever possible. Families can expect daily communication with staff members and their loved ones, on-site sessions twice a month, and assistance in planning for long-term family recovery. Our treatment team is trained in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapies (DBT), trauma recovery-oriented eye movement desensitization and reprocessing, and expressive therapies such as art, music, and theater. We provide personalized dual diagnosis treatment for mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, and OCD. Accredited teachers work with clients individually to help them achieve their educational goals, while elective courses in creative arts are also available. Our aftercare program includes home visits, intensive outpatient treatment, and referrals for sober living and support groups.
STAFF CREDENTIALS
Members of our treatment team hold advanced degrees and certifications. Our staff includes master’s level licensed therapists, a board certified child and adolescent psychiatrist, a medical doctor with expertise in nutrition, a doctoral level social worker and educator, and a registered yoga teacher.

Our website showcases bright and modern accommodations with various physical activities available. Outside, we have a swimming pool, a basketball court, and a fire pit with comfortable seating. Inside, the shared bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious, and the lounge areas are furnished with plush furnishings. We also have a well-equipped workout room.
