Waismann Method Opioid Addiction Treatment Specialists, has been the leading Rapid Detox Center since 1998. Although the center is world renowned for providing the best anesthesia-assisted rapid detoxification, other medical opioid detox methods are also available. Rapid Detox treatment is performed by a Quadrupled Board-Certified MD with 20 years experience in accelerated opioid detoxification. Patients are admitted to a private room of a full service, accredited hospital for a few days, followed by a few more days at our exclusive recovery retreat.

ABOUT WAISMANN METHOD

Located 45 minutes south of Los Angeles, the Waismann Method provides rapid detoxification from opiates like heroin in a hospital setting in Beverly Hills, Calif. Medically-managed detoxification is followed by aftercare at an exclusive recovery center owned by the center.

TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT

Treatment plans are individualized based on a comprehensive assessment that evaluates medical history, level of drug use, and other factors. Clients must participate in the assessment before admission into the hospital. The assessment will last a day or two and includes a physical examination, toxicology screening, and a chest x-ray.

Clients will be placed under sedation for 30 to 90 minutes during the rapid detoxification procedure. Clients will stay at the hospital the following day to receive additional medical care. For clients who can’t undergo sedation, an “intermediate” care option may be used.

Aftercare support at Domus Retreat includes individual psychotherapy, acupuncture, massage therapy, and yoga. Clients can pay an extra fee for private yoga sessions, personal training, psychiatrist consultation, and other services.

STAFF CREDENTIALS

A medical director with more than 20 years of experience in detox leads the team at the Waismann Method. The hospital also employs a psychotherapist and other board-certified physicians.

ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES

During detoxification at Waismann Method, clients will stay in private rooms in the hospital’s intensive care unit. At the Domus Retreat, clients will reside in private rooms with a TV/DVD player and bathroom suites. Clients have access to basic toiletries, laundry services, a pool and jacuzzi, billiard room, and 24-hour care. Transportation to and from the airport and hospital is provided. Chefs create healthy meals that are specific to each client’s dietary needs.

What all treatment hopefully will be like in the near future. Saved my son from the gris of heroin addiction. Don't let people tell you that rapid detox is dangerous, I spent years scared of the only treatment that works. Dangerous is scaring people from a great treatment like the Waismann.

First I am sorry it took your family so long to find an effective detoxification treatment for your son. People (especially on the addiction field) have a hard time accepting changes. Also, people need to understand that Rapid Detox is a medical procedure and not all rapid detox centers are the same. The anesthesia-assisted procedure is safe and effective when done carefully and in the hospital with the proper amount of time for pre-treatment and recuperation. Even "rapid" has a limit of how fast it can be. Anyway, I thank you for your kind words and wish your son a life full of health a happiness.

I travel with my husband to California from the other side of the world because i heard ot was the best treatment for opiate painkillers in the world. It was definetly worth the trip and long hours on the flight.

I’m back home already, they day I got to the Domos house (Friday) I ran 1/2 mile on the treadmill, then Saturday I ran a mile so I knew I was ready to go. It was great there, I wish I could have spent more time there, everyone was so accommodating and it really felt like they had their heart and soul into helping everyone there. As a medical opioid detox treatment, there is nothing of its kind. They are known for being the best rapid detox center for over 20 years, but they also have a number of other opioid addiction treatments.

Let me start by saying that the Waismann Method is the best possible rapid detox treatment out there and gave us our family back. My brother couldn’t kick his addiction on his own and it was tearing my family apart. We tried everything and nothing stuck - until we found the Waismann Method. Since treatment, he has been completely clean! Rapid Detox helped to save his life and Domus was just that extra element that helped him really be ready and excited for a new life. The mental and emotional strength he gained from his stay at Domus allowed him to come back to his life and stand up to certain people and situations in a way he hasn’t been able to in years! For heroin addiction this is the place to go. The rapid detox is good but how you feel in a couple of days is the real miracle. That creepy crawling feeling is gone. If I could give 100 stars I would.it saved a loved ones life. Not just the rapid detox was such a wonderful treatment for his heroin addiction, all the tests performed at the hospital let us know existing issues we were not aware. I don’t believe he would have survived a drug rehab without the medical care he received. To complete the program Domus Retreat was a golden key. I am not sure why everyone don't go through detox with the WAismann treatment. Actually I don't understand why all opioid treatments don't follow their protocol. Between the detox, DOMUS house and the staff. I don't know what to say other than express pure gratitude. My step son was there after 6 miserable years of drug rehabs for heroin addiction. Once I took him to California and met the doctors at the hospital, I knew this was another level of drug treatment. The repetitiive sayings that I kept getting from rehabs was not there. If someone else told my wife to let him hit bottom one more time, Im not sure what I was going to do. These people went to real universities and are professionals. I paid a quarter of a million in rehabs to hear how many years the treating people had done drugs. Insanity! Anyway its been 8 months and I need to say these guys save his life. Sure there are other emotional issues he is dealing with, but he goes to a therapist with credentials, not people that have long term drug use as a speciality. Listen, you can always find wholes in everything and things are not perfect, but from what available it was the best drug treatment I found, especially when you are dealing with an evil drug such as heroin. If you a parent and you are going through the hell I did with drug addiction in your family, please give these guys a try. I know is not cheap and California is not always so close ,but let me tell you ,well worth it. I hope this can help someone out there.

I have been stuck on opiates for 12 years almost. I am 28 years old I finally hit my breaking point I couldn't take it anymore. I was suck on Percocet from my wisdom teeth being pulled out from 16 years old to about 24 years old I was on all types of different pain meds Percocets Hydrocodone OxyContin up to 600mg daily. It felt doll but that's was i wanted to feel. At 24 years I went to a detox/pain management doctor which gave me the cure of Suboxone bullshit worst thing ever. I switch to Suboxone because Dr. said it was the cure. It will make you better yet what a crock of crud to tell you what for 12 years I have been in a jail cell from this opiate problem. Just finished the Waisman detox in California. They are the best rapid detox center out there. I spent 10 grand in a dump In Michigan that almost killed me . I was so sick for weeks. Hey people don't try to save money in cheap places, save your life. These guys know what they are doing in California .

I am a pain patient in my 60s that has gone through numerous surgeries and found myself addicted to painkillers. I had been to an exclusive rehab where I felt ashamed, judged, and not cared about. The Waismann treatment is almost a miracle.The whole process from the hospital to Domus is outstanding. My son was there after numerous treatments for heroin addiction.
