The facility’s treatment program uses a variety of evidence-based treatment methods including 12-step programming. To be admitted, clients begin by calling the facility’s 24 hour recovery hotline. Most clients remain in treatment for at least 30 days.

Throughout treatment, clients receive individual and group therapy as well as nutritional counseling, holistic healing practices, peer support groups, medical monitoring, daily meetings, and educational lectures. Participants who are detoxing may receive medication including Suboxone. Families are included in the treatment program through family therapy sessions, and are encouraged to participate in treatment with their loved one to provide them with a strong support system. Changes Treatment and Recovery Center offers unique treatments and therapy including yoga and meditation.

The anonymous client gave the facility five out of five stars for treatment effectiveness, five stars for accommodations and amenities, and five stars for meals and nutrition. She strongly agreed that there are many counseling options to choose from, strongly agreed that the facility is adequately equipped and staffed to treat co-occurring mental health problems, and agreed that facility staff are experienced and well-trained. She felt that a strength of the facility was the group therapy. She felt that the facility could improve by separating men and women in treatment. She also added, “Great facility the staff you can count on. The group’s are very helpful and fulfilling ..outside meetings were great. Overall a wonderful environment.”

She wrote, “Place is a scam run by… old drug addict men that feed off of young drug addicts insurance.” M.H., an alum, did not agree with that viewpoint. He gave five stars and wrote, “They showed me the tools to save my own life. The owner and workers truly care and make you feel like family, not just a number. I recommend this facility to anyone struggling with the disease of addiction.”

She did not visit the client during treatment, but stayed in regular contact with the client, and said the facility appeared to match up with how it was described on the website or other marketing materials.

The loved one added that she felt the client benefited from the care they received at the facility. She added additional commentary stating, “The psychologist Michelle was so involved she was terrific. The impact letters that the family and patient had to write were tremendously helpful to all.”
