Located in the Orlando suburb of Winter Park, Winter Park Recovery offers outpatient-based treatment programs and medication-assisted detox for adults and adolescents struggling with chemical dependency or. The program utilizes Naltrexone and Suboxone to reduce the adverse symptoms of alcohol and opioid withdrawal.

Winter Park Recovery Center also incorporates multiple holistic therapies into core programming. These may include hypnotherapy, therapeutic massages, and acupuncture, as well as six weekly exercise groups that incorporate Qigong, yoga, stretching, Tai Chi, boxing, and Zumba.
Winter Park Recovery Center emphasizes family involvement as a key to sustaining ongoing sobriety. The program’s family-focused therapy helps loved ones to identify healthy and unhealthy family dynamics, improve communication, and assist in.
One of the primary components of alcohol abuse treatment at Winter Park Recovery Center is the use of the Sinclair Method. Theaims to decrease addiction over time by continuing to take that substance in controlled amounts while using a medication that removes the pleasure associated with it.
In short, clients take Naltrexone and consume controlled amounts of alcohol. Since they no longer react to alcohol over an extended period of time, clients become desensitized to it and their addiction begins to decrease.
