ABOUT LAWNWOOD REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER – BEHAVIORAL HEALTH
Located on the east coast of Florida in Fort Pierce, the Lawnwood Regional Medical Center’s Behavioral Health program provides inpatient and outpatient treatment to adults struggling with mental illness, substance abuse disorder, and/or dual diagnosis. Detox services are available on-site.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
Treatment at Lawnwood is individualized and designed to meet the unique needs of each client. Inpatient services are short-term and include crisis stabilization, daily one-on-one counseling, group psychotherapy, education, family therapy, and medication management.
The facility also has an intensive outpatient program (IOP) that meets three times a week for group therapy sessions. Individual and family counseling can be arranged as needed. The IOP utilizes a variety of therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), Seeking Safety, and cognitive processing therapy.
