TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT

According to the facility’s website, Crossroads Treatment Center specializes in Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT). The center combines counseling with medication-assisted treatment.

The center utilizes addiction medication such as methadone, Suboxone, and Subutex, which treats opioid addiction.

There are three distinct phases of treatment at Crossroads Treatment Centers. The first phase is the induction phase. In this phase, clients receive a Path to Recovery Handbook and are introduced to the treatment team. Clients in this phase meet with their counselors weekly for follow-up sessions, education about treatment, and drug screening. The induction phase typically lasts a month.

The second phase, early recovery, starts once clients are stabilized, they are understanding of treatment, and have been participating in individual counseling. In this phase, clients develop treatment plans, discuss triggers, and create a map for recovery.

The last phase is called relapse prevention and stabilization. After about a year of treatment, clients begin to end treatment medication and create an aftercare plan.
