ABOUT OCONEE CENTER – ADDICTIVE DISEASE OUTPATIENT SERVICES
Located in Milledgeville, Ga., which is about two hours outside of Atlanta, Oconee Center has been offering a wide array of behavioral health services for more than 40 years. Its Addictive Disease Outpatient Services (ADOPS) program provides outpatient treatment to adult men and women struggling with substance use disorder.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
All clients receive a comprehensive assessment upon admission to determine the appropriate level of care and create an individualized treatment plan.
Treatment at ADOPS is holistic and 12-step based and includes crisis intervention, one-on-one counseling, group and family therapy, and relapse prevention skills training. The facility can also help clients find sober living or transitional housing.

There is currently no information provided by the facility regarding its treatment staff, however the one loved one surveyed by Best-rehabs.com at the time of this writing gave ADOPS just one out of five stars for its staff’s level of training and experience.

On Citehealth, ADOPS received an average rating of 2.25 out of five stars based on four reviews.[1] Of the four reviewers, one gave the facility high praise, while the other three reviewers complained that staff were unresponsive.

The one loved on polled by Best-rehabs.com to date gave ADOPS a negative review, awarding the facility just one out of five stars for its family participation, its counseling options, its 12-step inclusion, its treatment of co-occurring disorders, and its administrative and discharge procedures. “The only thing is that the patients just sit there,” the anonymous reviewer wrote. “The place should be shout down.
When asked, on a scale from one to five, if they would recommend the facility, the reviewer gave a rating of one.
