TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT

However, it is unclear whether Saint Adolphus Behavioral Health directly supports substance abuse disorder treatment as it primarily offers referral services to outside resources for chemical dependency. Inpatient care is provided as a short-term, emergency, and stabilization measure only, with an average stay of five to six days. All patients receive medical and psychiatric evaluations, psychosocial assessments, medication management services, education, chaplaincy services, interactive and processing therapies, and discharge planning.

Clients may work with individual providers at the clinic or integrated treatment teams. The goal of all behavioral health treatment programs is to help clients develop coping and recovery skills.

  • The location of the facility is great, but it felt as if the individual treatment was lacking. It's more of a holding facility.

  • Caring staff who assist patients in recognizing their addicts and coping techniques taught to combat the addiction. Not enough social workers, workload is heavy for them. The staff and support personnel keep this old facility maintained in a welcoming environment but drastically need a new building.
