ABOUT LOUISIANA ADULT & TEEN CHALLENGE – LAFAYETTE MEN’S INDUCTION

One of eight Adult & Teen Challenge residential centers across Louisiana, the Men’s Induction program in Lafayette provides comprehensive, faith-based treatment for adult men, 17 years of age and older.

TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT

To be eligible for treatment, applicants must be at least 17 years old, be in relatively good physical health, and have “their own desire to both change and be a part of the Louisiana Adult & Teen Challenge program.” Details on the program itself, however, are not provided.

STAFF CREDENTIALS

There is currently no information provided by the center regarding its treatment staff. In the sole survey response for Best-rehabs.com to date, alum P.L.M. wrote: “They did not have counselors so to speak but they had people there that were knowledgeable with the Bible and it’s teachings.”

ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES

There is currently no information provided by the center regarding its living arrangements. Alum P.L.M. gave the center five out of five stars for its meals and level of cleanliness and four stars for its accommodations.

WHAT ALUMNI SAY

P.L.M, the sole Best-rehabs.com survey respondent as of this writing, awarded the men’s program an overall rating of five stars, and similarly high marks for its exercise and leisure opportunities and visitor policies. Despite noting the center’s lack of counselors, they told Best-rehabs.com that, “All in all it was a good program.”

Google reviewer April told of “Wonderful people at Teen Challenge” while four Facebook users gave the program five-star ratings, though none shared written commentary.[1][2]

  • This was a faith based program. They did not have counselors so to speak but they had people there that were knowledgeable with the Bible and it's teachings. All in all it was a good program.
