Southern Oaks Addiction Recovery believes in treating the whole person, and uses a holistic approach. Mentally patients are educated on addiction, and spiritually they are asked to find a power greater than themselves. Patients are asked to express emotions during group interactions.
Admission to the 21- to 25-day rehabilitation program is based on referrals and is appropriate for those done with detox. Treatment is holistic and emphasizes physical, social, and recreational skills. Clients will learn about the science of addiction and will be asked to express emotion in group interactions. Gender-specific therapy groups are offered.

They gave four out of five stars to eight of 15 evaluated categories including the facility’s exercise and leisure activities, holistic activities, and affordability.
