TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT

Sacred Heart Rehabilitation Center’s treatment program blends professional therapeutic techniques with the 12-step method. To be admitted, clients must contact the facility directly to schedule an assessment. The Flint location, Flint Outpatient Recovery & Wellness Services, offers outpatient treatment, specialized women’s care, HIV/AIDs care, Medication Assisted Treatment, and Adolescent treatment.

Throughout treatment, clients may receive a blend of group therapy, interactive group didactics, specialty groups, 12-step groups and individual therapy as well as evaluations, assessments, education, and prevention. The Specialized Women’s Care program at Sacred Heart Rehabilitation Center incorporates a variety of health, parenting, child care, case management, specialized medical care and additional services with a course of substance abuse treatment. This program is open to women who need to bring their children to treatment as well as pregnant women who are addicted to opiates. Participants in the Medication Assisted Treatment program receive medication including Methadone.

STAFF CREDENTIALS

At the time of this writing there has been one friend or family member of a client polled by Best-rehabs.com. The reviewer left good ratings for the facility and said he would recommend it to others. The anonymous loved one gave Sacred Heart Rehabilitation Center four out of five stars for treatment effectiveness, four stars for accommodations and amenities, and four stars for meals and nutrition. He agreed that there are many counseling options to choose from, agreed that the facility is adequately equipped and staffed to treat co-occurring mental health problems, and agreed that facility staff are experienced and well-trained. He felt the cost and the results of the program were strengths of the facility, and did not add any weaknesses.

On the facility’s Facebook page, which it can mange, there is an overall rating of 4.6 out of five stars based on 148 total reviews.[1] The reviews are mostly positive, with a very small number of people expressing that they had negative experiences. Alum B.L., who gave four stars, said Sacred Heart Rehabilitation Center saved her life. She wrote “I am still sober and I always tell people it’s the place to go if, you want to get sober and stay at least a month.” C.B., an alum, agreed with that viewpoint. She gave five stars and wrote, “If I hadn’t started there my fiance an I would be dead by now from an extremely bad heroin addiction. They have the nicest doctors an nurses an counselors there.”

FINANCING

The cost of treatment programs at the Flint facility is not provided by Sacred Heart Rehabilitation Center. However. residential treatment at other Sacred Heart facilities is $175 per day, and detoxification treatment is $225 per day. A group therapy session costs $35, an individual therapy session is $75, and an assessment is $150. The facility states that treatment is covered by insurance for most clients.

For individuals without insurance, Sacred Heart works with regional Prepaid Inpatient Health Plans to provide low cost treatment. Clients are encouraged to contact the facility directly for additional information regarding the cost of treatment.
