ABOUT NEW ULM MEDICAL CENTER
Located in New Ulm, Minn., New Ulm Medical Center is a non-profit organization that offers a comprehensive range of medical services. The facility provides detoxification, outpatient treatment, and inpatient services to children, teenagers, and adults who are grappling with mental health disorders and substance abuse.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
According to New Ulm Medical Center’s website, each client receives an individualized treatment plan. The center’s programming includes psychological and psychiatric assessments, individual and family therapy, psychological testing, medication management, and home-based mental health services. The outpatient treatment center operates from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, while inpatient services are available to teenagers and adults. WHAT ALUMNI SAY
The alumni who were interviewed by Best-rehabs.com expressed mixed opinions. One alum, Ted, rated the treatment effectiveness as five out of five stars, recommended New Ulm Medical Center to friends and family, and stated that they are in long-term recovery. Ted wrote, “The facility provided 12-step and CBT style counseling, which was what I needed, and it worked for me.”
The other alum gave a two-star rating for treatment effectiveness and a five-star rating for meals and nutrition. They also mentioned that the facility requires strong leadership to provide the best care and noted issues with the pace and paperwork. This alum chose to remain anonymous.
To date, Google Reviews have an average rating of 3.7 out of five stars from 14 individuals. However, it should be noted that these reviews are not solely for the behavioral health unit but encompass the entire medical center.[1]
