  • Harris House was instrumental in saving my life--I highly recommend it. They have a marvelous campus and a phenomenal comprehensive program for every stage of recovery. It was truly a blessing coming here.
OUTSTANDING!! The best treatment facility in St. Louis for drug and/or alcohol addiction. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. I had roomates who went to some of the big name expensive treatment facilities in Minnesota and the West Coast who told me Harris House helped them more than the other facilities that charged three times as much. Some of the clients had travelled across the country to come to Harris House. I stayed in the inpatient facility and transferred to their transitional program. They do regular random drug and alcohol testing. They have well qualified counselors and staff who are committed and compassionate. Thank you!!

  • They encouraged my uncle to get sober for the sake of his family. I do not recall any weaknesses I do not know the details of my uncle's treatment, but he definitely came out a changed man. He actually started focusing on his family instead of drinking all the time. The staff were all understanding and very helpful.

Not really prepared as a dual diagnosis facility. They talk the talk but do not live up to what is printed in their material. Very disappointing experience.

  • It's hospitality. The staff there are some of the most caring and friendly people who were able to love me until I was able to love myself. It's promotion. There's not enough information on this facility and more people should know about it. This treatment center is an amazing place that saves lives on a daily basis. They helped save mine. They have helped me get my life back on track and restore my relationships with others. The staff there are some of the most caring and friendly people who were able to love me until I was able to love myself. The Harris House has taught me to be the responsible, sober, happy and free person that I am today. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful place be apart of my life.

  • Certified counselors help guide clients in creating individual recovery plans to treat the whole person - body, mind, and spirit. I was a client of the S.T.A.I.R.S. intensive inpatient program at Harris House. I found the program of educational groups, exposure to 12 step meetings and talk therapy in an environment that promotes "Recovery With Responsibility" gave me the tools to get my life back. I am grateful for the program and staff at Harris House and would recommend it to anyone considering an inpatient treatment facility.

  • My adult son had struggled with alcohol and drug addiction for many years and we nearly lost him on a few occassions. He tried various ways to kick his habits and went to one other in house program and they all failed. He has now been clean and sober for 25 months and now has a family.
