Synergy Recovery Center is a private women’s residential recovery home offering a unique treatment experience to the women it serves. Women will experience their healing journey in a trauma informed environment created to foster safety, dignity, and respect.
Synergy Recovery Center provides a holistic approach to recovery utilizing both evidenced based traditional practices along with innovative techniques to encompass the mind, body, and spirit. Providing gender responsive programming was an utmost priority when developing our treatment model. Synergy’s philosophy for addiction treatment stems from a multidimensional perspective to include gender responsive approaches to both environmental and psychosocial challenges. Our model supports individualized treatment and attention to each woman’s needs. Caseloads are small to allow for multiple individual sessions throughout the week and to promote healthy interactions in the center while fostering an atmosphere conducive to personal growth and change
ABOUT SYNERGY RECOVERY CENTER FOR WOMEN
Located in Rogersville, Mo., 19 miles east of Springfield, Synergy Recovery Center for Women provides an upscale, gender-specific residential program for women struggling with chemical dependency and co-occurring mental health concerns. In addition, the facility offers an intensive outpatient program (IOP) for both men and women, as well as specialized educational classes and support groups. The residential center does not offer on-site detoxification services.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
Before beginning treatment, clients participate in an initial behavioral and psychiatric assessment to help clinicians develop an individualized plan of care. The length of the residential program at Synergy Recovery Center for Women is designed to last between 60 and 90 days, though clients may move through the program at their own pace, from 30 days up to six months.
Synergy Recovery Center for Women utilizes a range of evidence-based treatment methods, holistic therapies, and 12-step immersion to help clients acquire and maintain sobriety. During residential treatment, clients participate in individual, family, and group therapy sessions to help clients identify and change destructive thinking patterns that may contribute to addictive behavior. Clients also regularly attend 12-step meetings, and SMART Recovery sessions are also available.
The facility also holds experiential and educational classes that address a range of topics, including improving life skills, setting relationship boundaries, parenting, health education, and stress management. To address issues related to trauma, Synergy Recovery Center for Women utilizes eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EDMR). In addition, clients with co-occurring mental health concerns may attend specialized counseling groups and relevant educational sessions, as well as receive ongoing medication management.
In addition to evidence-based treatments, Synergy Recovery Center for Women offers a variety of holistic treatments designed to promote free expression, reduce stress, and improve mindfulness. Holistic therapies included music and art therapy, guided yoga sessions, exercise sessions, mindful meditations, and Acudetox (a specialized ear acupuncture practice).
Once a client completes residential treatment, clinicians may encourage graduates to transition into the facility’s intensive outpatient program to continue treatment, which includes group and individual counseling and education classes. Synergy Recovery Center for Women also offers a range of outpatient-based educational programs, including gender-specific, grief and loss, relationship, domestic abuse, and relapse prevention program tracks.
STAFF CREDENTIALS
Synergy Recovery Center for Women employs a multidisciplinary comprised of licensed professional counselors, clinical psychologists, nurses, holistic therapists, a yoga instructor, nutritionist, and an acupuncturist.

Synergy Recovery Center for Women offers clients an upscale, homelike facility with a sprawling yard, an outdoor pool with sun deck, outdoor patios with fire pits, yoga studio, home theater, and art studio. The facility also features luxurious, well-furnished communal areas, and clients enjoy either private suites or spacious double-occupancy bedrooms.

Out of five stars, the survey respondent offered perfect five-star ratings for the facility’s counseling options, the inclusion of holistic treatments, and the treatment staff’s level of experience and training. “They really do treat your mind, body and soul, Lacey wrote. “The counselors and resident assistance are kind, compassionate and knowledgeable.”

FINANCING
The cost of the residential program at Synergy Recovery Center for Women is $18,000 per month, or $40,500 for 90 days of treatment. The facility accepts a range of private insurance plans.
