ABOUT THE COUNSELING CENTER – MARSH HOUSE
The Marsh House provides outpatient treatment and sober living housing for men dealing with chemical dependency. As a part of the Counseling Center, Inc., a community-based addiction treatment service, clients will have access to medication-assisted detoxification services on an ambulatory basis.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
Programming incorporates 12-step programming with evidence-based treatment. Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing are used to address addictive behavior. Clients will participate in individual, group, and family counseling sessions.
Those who need ambulatory detoxification can be prescribed Suboxone or Subutex.
While living at Marsh House, residents will attend 12-step meetings and perform associated step-work. Clients can expect weekly drug tests and may gain a sponsor.
STAFF CREDENTIALS
According to the organization’s website, programs at the Counseling Center, Inc. are facilitated by “professional, licensed counselors dedicated to the principles of recovery.” The center employs house supervisors, program directors, and case managers.
