ABOUT DOHI CENTER FOR WELL-BEING, LLC

Dohi Center for Well-Being, LLC is located in Waynesboro, Pa. and offers a comprehensive array of outpatient-based services for adults and youth struggling with chemical dependency, mental health concerns, or co-occurring disorders. In addition to an intensive outpatient program (IOP) for chemical dependency, our facility provides specialized Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) and a program specifically designed for DUI offenders.

TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT

In order to determine individual needs, our clinicians conduct initial behavioral health and/or psychiatric evaluations. Dohi Center also offers specialized assessments and program tracks for DUI offenders to fulfill state requirements for reinstatement. For clients in need of a higher level of structure and support in their recovery from chemical dependency, they may be referred to our intensive outpatient program.

To address chemical dependency and co-occurring disorders, Dohi Center incorporates counseling sessions, wellness workshops, and holistic treatment methods. During the intensive outpatient program (IOP), clients engage in individual, group, and family counseling sessions, attend workshops on holistic wellness, anger management, and emotional well-being, and participate in seminars on mindful meditation, relaxation techniques, natural nutrition, and Reiki training.

In addition to the IOP for substance abuse disorders, Dohi Center for Well-Being also offers counseling services for individuals struggling with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), a history of trauma, grief, and anger management issues. The facility also conducts specialized group counseling sessions for young adolescents between the ages of 13 and 16. These groups address substance abuse issues, family conflict, depression, peer pressure, adjustment to school, and other challenges related to this age group.

Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) are provided by Dohi Center for Well-Being to help employees overcome personal issues that may negatively impact their work performance. Through counseling and referrals to other treatment providers, our center offers assistance with substance abuse, occupational stress, emotional distress, and processing major life events.
