Our treatment philosophy is about achieving optimum health. Every client is provided opportunity to improve their health and well-being, to transform their lives, whether they are seeking help to overcome addictions or they are seeking aftercare support for success in recovery. Every client is a unique individual and we meet them where they are in their stage of change. Using a mindfulness philosophy with a person-centered approach in therapy, we teach our clients how to proceed successfully on their journey to overall better health.


Located in Waynesboro, Pa. Dohi Center for Well-Being, LLC. provides a range of outpatient-based services for adults and youth struggling with chemical dependency, mental health concerns, or co-occurring disorders. Along with an intensive outpatient program (IOP) to treat chemical dependency, the facility also provides specialized Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs), as well as a program designed for DUI offenders.


To help clinicians determine individual needs, clients may undergo an initial behavioral health and/or psychiatric evaluation. Dohi Center also offers specialized assessments and program tracks for DUI offenders that may satisfy state requirements for reinstatement. If a client requires a high level of structure and support to recover from chemical dependency, they may be referred to the facility’s intensive outpatient program.

To treat chemical dependency and co-occurring disorders, Dohi Center combines counseling sessions, wellness workshops, and holistic treatment methods. During IOP, clients may participate in individual, group, and family counseling sessions, as well as attend workshops on holistic wellness, anger management, and emotional well-being. The facility also offers seminars on mindful meditation, relaxation techniques, natural nutrition, and Reiki training.

Although with its IOP to treat substance abuse disorders, Dohi Center for Well-Being offers counseling services for individuals struggling with post-traumatic stress disorder(PTSD), a history of trauma, grief, and anger management issues. In addition, the facility holds specialized group counseling sessions for young adolescents (ages 13 to 16). These groups may address substance abuse issues, family conflict, depression, peer pressure, adjusting to school, and other issues relevant to young adolescents.

Dohi Center for Well-Being also provides Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) to help employees overcome personal issues that may negatively impact their work performance**. Through counseling and referrals to other treatment providers, the center may address and assist with substance abuse, occupational stress, emotional distress, and processing major life events.


Dohi Center for Well-Being’s counseling and educational services are provided by licensed professional counselors.
