We are a faith-based 501c3 program that provides chemical dependency counseling through the 12 steps. A Vision for You offers Bible scripture passages to provide hope for individuals facing trials and tribulations in their lives (All services are confidential).
ABOUT A VISION FOR YOU HELP CENTER
Established in 2010, A Vision for You Help Center (AVFYHC) is a nonprofit organization that offers substance abuse treatment to individuals aged 18 and above. Located in Edinburg, Tex., our facility provides faith-based outpatient programs. Please note that we do not offer on-site detox services.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
Our treatment program has a duration of 90 days, as stated on our website. During this time, clients are introduced to the 12-Steps and receive individual and family counseling. Our staff utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) as well as biblical teachings to provide clients with a “healthier chance for success in recovery.”
Additionally, we offer aftercare programs focused on relapse prevention, as well as supportive programming for loved ones. AVFYHC is court-approved to provide additional services such as life skills classes, parenting workshops, and anger management education, as mentioned on our Facebook page.
STAFF CREDENTIALS
The founder of AVFYHC is a Certified Faith Based Counselor, Certified Chemical Dependency Counselor, and Certified Anger Management Counselor with over 11 years of personal recovery experience. Many of our substance abuse and anger management counselors are also in recovery, which enables them to better understand and empathize with our clients. At AVFYHC, we maintain a low staff-to-client ratio to ensure personalized treatment and attentive staff availability.

As of now, we have received feedback from one alum surveyed by Best-rehabs.com. This alum awarded our treatment effectiveness and accommodations/amenities with a five-star rating. The alum mentioned that one particular staff member, who is also in recovery, greatly contributed to his treatment and could relate to him effectively.
We have received five-star ratings from all four reviewers (alumni, loved ones, and staff) on our Facebook page. Brenda, in her review, praised the supportive nature of one of our staff members and highlighted their ability to help individuals see a clearer vision of their situation through their faith. Please note that all reviews on our Facebook page are carefully managed and verified by our facility.
