ABOUT THE RECOVERY CENTER
Located in Wichita Falls, Texas, The Recovery Center provides residential, outpatient, and detox treatment to people struggling with substance abuse or gambling addiction. Clients must be at least 18 to enter treatment.

According to the facility’s website, The Recovery Center’s programs are designed for people who are searching for a Christian or spiritual 12-step treatment. Each client receives individualized treatment.

The Recovery Center offers both partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient programs (IOP), and the center has day and evening hours to help accommodate working people.
The Recovery Center’s PHP program meets 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Treatment includes therapy and interventions during which individuals are encouraged to talk about symptoms, support systems, and concerns.
The IOP program meets three times a week, and offers skill-building and process groups.
The Recovery Center’s website notes University of Behavioral Health of Denton Provides detox services, and UBH is affiliated with The Recovery Center.

The two alumni polled by Best-rehabs.com at the time of this writing provided negative to neutral feedback.
One alum noted the center had no strength, but gave it four out of five stars for accommodations and amenities. They also gave two stars for meals and nutrition.
The other alum gave one star for treatment effectiveness and accommodations and amenities. “They collect your insurance and kick you to the curb the day it runs out. Little to no discharge planning… WHY?! They should be ashamed and should not be licensed,” they wrote.
However, the four people who left reviews for The Recovery Center on Google at the time of this writing left five out of five star reviews.[1]
“Spent some time at The Recovery Center. Very helpful place,” an alum wrote on Google. “Everyone that has struggles with addiction should look them up. They are not very accepting of the idea of a faithless recovery.”
