ABOUT GRACE COUNSELING
Grace Counseling, located in Lewisville, Texas, provides full-service counseling to people with mental health and/or behavioral health concerns, including outpatient-based programs for adults and adolescents dealing with substance misuse and co-occurring disorders. Counseling for mood disorders and binge-eating disorders as well as a women-only intensive outpatient program (IOP) are also available. Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) may also be offered if needed. Grace Counseling has a second location in Fort Worth, Texas.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
Treatment begins with a no-cost screening and assessment to develop an individualized treatment program. Intensive outpatient programming (IOP) for substance misuse meets three times per week and incorporates educational workshops, counseling groups utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and relapse prevention classes.
Adolescents (aged 13 to 17) and adults enrolled in the program will also be introduced to 12-Step and will undergo treatment following the Matrix Model, a system that blends counseling, 12-Step, and other evidence-based therapies. During treatment, counselors create, modify, and assess the progress of goals with clients.
Specialized counseling groups, such as gender-specific or issue-focused, are also available to further personalize treatment. Grace Counseling recommends family involvement in treatment and offers family and couples counseling. Morning and evening group sessions are available to accommodate clients’ schedules
