Located in Dallas, Texas, New Season is one of the only 65 (five percent) treatment centers in the state that provides outpatient opioid addiction treatment to people struggling with opioid addiction in Dallas and surrounding areas. New Season has treatment centers in multiple locations, this review focuses on the Dallas County Treatment Center.
According to the center’s website, “New Season’s vision is to strengthen community wellness and vitality by addressing opioid drug use with the most innovative health treatments available based on the latest science, research and proven models.”
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
According to the facility’s website, the center’s treatment team utilizes the latest research to create customized treatment plans for each client, and the plans are designed to support their recovery.
Treatment includes medication-assisted treatment (MAT). Methadone, buprenorphine, or Suboxone is used to help with withdrawal symptoms and cravings. Withdrawals are medically supervised.
The center’s website notes MAT is designed for people who are 18 years of age or older, and who have been dependent on opioids for more than a year.
Programming also includes individual, group, and family counseling, along with medical exams. Take-home medication benefits are available after meeting certain criteria. The center also offers referrals.
STAFF CREDENTIALS
The center’s website indicates that the treatment team includes a program director, medical doctors, treatment service coordinators, counselors, pharmacist, and nurses. In fact, in the state of Texas, 98 percent of all substance abuse treatment facilities have continuing education requirements for staff.
The center’s website notes the treatment team has “opioid addiction specialists.”

WHAT STAFF SAY
The single staff member polled by Best-rehabs.com at the time of this writing left positive feedback, giving five stars for level of family participation, treatment of co-occurring disorders, and staff level of experience and training. Four stars were awarded for admissions & discharge procedures, holistic offerings, and counseling options. Noting the “Excellent staff” as a facility strength, this staffer did admit that “Aftercare could be better.”
FINANCING
There is currently no information provided by the facility regarding its cost of treatment. However, the single staff member surveyed by Best-rehabs.com at the time of this writing gave four out of five stars for treatment affordability.
