Pathway To Recovery

ABOUT PATHWAY TO RECOVERY

Pathway to Recovery is a Texas-based drug and alcohol rehab offering gender-specific substance abuse treatment through its three separate facilities. The Le Marque facility, situated on a secluded, three-acre campus, is exclusively for men. Our program provides a comprehensive continuum of care including inpatient treatment, intensive residential care (RTC), partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), standard outpatient (OP), and aftercare.

TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT

At Pathway to Recovery, our center follows a disease-model approach to treatment. All prospective clients undergo a basic assessment and a clinical diagnostic evaluation, which helps us identify co-occurring disorders and determine the most suitable level of care from our five options.

Our treatment approach is based on the 12 Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous and incorporates a combination of indoor and outdoor activities aimed at fostering internal change among our clients. Our counselors are trained in evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing (MI), and deliver therapy in both individual and group settings. Process groups are also available to address common challenges such as grief, denial, and anger management.

Furthermore, we strongly encourage family members to play an active role in their loved ones’ recovery by participating in on-site educational programming.

STAFF CREDENTIALS

Our treatment is administered by a medical director, social workers, and chemical dependency counselors. We maintain a staff-to-client ratio of 1:5.

ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES

Our center features a 32-bed facility surrounded by well-maintained lawns and oak trees. An outdoor patio provides a natural environment for therapeutic activities and group discussions. While detailed information about accommodations is limited, one alum described the facility as “very old” and in need of renovation.

WHAT ALUMNI SAY

Based on surveys conducted by Best-rehabs.com, the feedback from the two alumni of Pathway to Recovery was mostly positive. One anonymous alum gave the program a four-star rating for its effectiveness, while another alum named Phillip described the program’s staff as “awesome” and “caring.” He credited the program with saving his life and expressed gratitude by saying, “I owe them my life.” However, both reviewers mentioned financial issues at the facility.

All 18 Facebook users who reviewed Pathway to Recovery have given it a five-star rating. One reviewer named Mason stated, “The structure and guidance of this program was exactly what I needed to make a beginning into permanent recovery.”

WHAT FRIENDS & FAMILY SAY

According to the single loved one surveyed by Best-rehabs.com, the center received a five-star rating for its treatment effectiveness. The loving and caring nature of the staff was highlighted, while the counseling was considered good. The only area of improvement identified was the lack of exercise and leisure activities.

As stated on our website, our treatment is reasonably priced: $6,000 for one month, $10,000 for 60 days, and $15,000 for 90 days. We also accept private insurance from providers like Aetna, Cigna, and BlueCross BlueShield.

  • Counseling was good but leisure activities need to improve. It was a very hard time for our family, but the staff was caring.

  • Promoted spiritual guidance and due to financial problems within the facility (usually government "red tape"), an insight to what life should really be about was learned. Facility relied mostly on donations and state and federal grants which limited funding. Some of the people there volunteered their own time and resources which is actually a good thing if they were so situated. It promotes altruism and let you know that not everyone is just looking out for themselves. It is also as much or more helpful to the the one who gives selflessly. I believe in paying it forward and have reaped the rewards myself. A trait taught by drug addicts to drug addicts from their Higher Power. The weakness was the strength if you knew how to look at it. I cannot claim 100% sobriety because I still have a few beers with the boys from time to time but I have not been intoxicated in years. I have been the maintenance manger for a plastic refining facility, been a project manager in charge of the construction of a oil refining unit and I even delivered pizzas! I was just placed in the right place at the right time and luckily had enough of my own free will run wild to finely sit down, shut up and try listening to someone else.

  • Awesome caring experiences staff. Very 12 step based. They did great with me and I was a hopeless case. Very patient It's very old and needs alot of revamping. Unfortunately they can't afford it I was a hopeless heroin addict living at a shelter. The staff at Pathway to Recovery loved me until I could love myself. I owe them my life. I will go there to sponsor new clients as long as I'm sober. I was there so long I lost money on me. Still clean n sober thanks to God and Pathway Lamarque
