Founded in 2015 and located in Draper, Utah, Deer Hollow Recovery is a locally owned, private treatment facility, which make up about 62 percent of all treatment facilities in Utah. Treatment & Assessment
According to Deer Hollow Recovery’s website, each client receives an individualized treatment plan that treats the medical, physical, emotional, spiritual, and social aspects of addiction. The treatment center offers DBT skills, cognitive processing therapy, mind body bridging, shame resiliency, psychodrama, self-compassion, mediation and mindfulness, and process groups.
The treatment team also works with the clients’ families and loved ones to improve the clients transition process back into the community. Family services include on-site educational groups, family process groups, and individualized treatment with a primary therapist.
Deer Hollow Recovery offers aftercare programming, and weekly and monthly activities at for alumni. During residential treatment, programming includes individual and group counseling, recreation therapy, and activities such as snow shoeing, snowmobiling, fly fishing, hiking, and equine therapy.
Following residential care, clients may enter the recovery residence, which offers a supportive community, bi-weekly house meetings, and life skills education. The outpatient center offers outpatient therapy, day treatment groups, intensive outpatient services, day or evening groups, individualized weekly therapy sessions, and life skill groups.

However, all eight people who gave Google Reviews for Deer Hollow Recovery gave five out of five stars, and positive commentary. Individuals praised the center’s staff and great programs. “Deer hollow recovery has an amazing staff,” Kevin wrote in a representative review. “From the first person you talk to on the phone when you call for help to the line staff at the facilities. Everyone there has an amazing amount of passion for what they do.”
