TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT

Treatment plans at Oasis Behavioral Health Services address individual client needs and situations holistically, with attention to concerns ranging from psychiatric to spiritual. Individuals can seek evaluation and treatment services on their own, or via employers or primary health care providers. Clients participate in such services as psychological testing, child and family counseling, and emotion management therapy.

Several options specific to substance use disorder treatment are provided. The primary therapist conducts Johnson Model interventions, which entail pre-intervention counseling sessions for care givers. The facility’s Employee Assistance Program is designed to address substance abuse, along with other concerns, in collaboration with businesses. Multiple treatment team members are also designated Department of Transportation Substance Abuse Professionals (DOT/SAP), who evaluate and recommend further care for transportation professionals.

Oasis refers clients needing more intensive treatment for addiction to other recommended local and national programs and can provide clients with referrals and easy transfer of care for these services.

STAFF CREDENTIALS

The founder of Oasis Behavioral Health Services holds a Master’s in Social Work and Ph.D. in psychiatry. All treatment team members are master’s-degreed, licensed psychotherapists. Four are also certified addiction counselors.
