ABOUT ST. JOSEPH HEALTH – MISSION PACIFIC COAST RECOVERY CENTER

Mission Pacific Coast Recovery Center (MPCR) in Laguna Beach, Calif., provides a continuum of care for those dealing with substance abuse, including inpatient treatment, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient treatment, and aftercare. Medically managed detoxification is available on-site.

TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT

Treatment begins with medically managed detoxification that lasts five to seven days, if necessary. Following an assessment, a primary counselor will work with clients to develop individualized treatment plans.

Clients at MPCR will participate in individual therapy sessions and twice weekly group counseling. Programming is rooted in the 12-steps with AA/NA meetings. Those enrolled in inpatient treatment will attend educational workshops, addiction and nutrition education, physical and recreational therapy, and family therapy.

Family members can attend programming to learn about the science of addiction and how to communicate with their loved one.

Following treatment, alumni can participate in continuing care therapy groups with day and evening options.
