Advantage Mental Health Center Reviews

Your office violated my privacy by sharing detail information from my files - as well as my nurse practitioners unfounded judgements and prejudices (she seems to think everyone is a drug addict without proof) with the office STAFF. In addition, she used peer pressure to push me into allowing interns into my private and highly confidential sessions without any renumeration and without having me sign any paperwork explaining my rights. There is no confidentially Alibey agreements between me and the interns that I will never see it again but who know my name and you know all kinds of details about my life. I was also traumatized by the cruel remarks of their EMDR "specialist."
All about solutions. No 6 months to wait for treatment. Blunt straight forward help for bp.
I have been going here since June of 2016, after seeing a handful of doctors and prescribers who treated me like a file rather than a person. After a complete lack of empathy and understanding in this field, I set up an appointment with one of the female staff members. It has changed my life, literally. Everyone that works here really does care. If you're not drug seeking, you will have no problems getting your prescriptions filled and refilled. There is really good communication through the office from reception to the doctors and therapists, and everyone works as a team. She is very caring and will treat you like a human (not all prescribers act like this) and the staff at the front of the house is super nice and accommodating. They will even fill out your insurance forms if it applies. Another female worker is awesome too. I have seen several therapists, and she's the only one with whom I have made any progress. I highly recommend this place. I literally look forward to my sessions with her.
great facility, they helped my sister-in-law get clean
The counseling is a joke and all they care about is keeping you in their pocket and getting their money every week and tell you to schedule way more appointments than necessary Official Facility Response:Alex - I am truly sorry you did not find our services helpful. Rest assured that we hire only counselors who are very well-trained and provide only evidence-based therapeutic treatments. Our counselors are salaried and receive the same amount of compensation whether they see no patients at all or six in one day. Counselor recommendations for therapeutic follow-up are based solely on their clinical judgment of what will best serve our patients. If you would like to call me personally at (727) 600-8093 I will be happy to discuss any specific concerns you may have. Dr. Hervey Chief Medical Officer Advantage Mental Health Center
