TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
According to Florida Center for Recovery’s website, treatment begins with an initial medical and psychiatric evaluation to determine if detoxification is necessary. Following detoxification, clients may transition to inpatient treatment. Treatment is individualized and clients will participate in 12-Step work or opt to be involved in.
Treatment for those with gambling, alcohol and drug addiction is offered along with self-harm and eating disorders. Programming includes Individual, family, and group therapy, along with other holistic options such as art therapy, yoga, acupuncture, and chiropractic therapy.
Outpatient treatment is offered through partial hospitalization (PHP) or intensive outpatient (IOP) programming. PHP programming lasts 20 hours a week while IOP is less structured and consists of nine hours.
Florida Center for Recovery’s website notes the treatment team includes a medical doctor, psychiatrists, nurses, mental health counselors and addiction specialists, and nutritionists. Specialized staff includes a yoga instructor, personal trainer, and massage therapist.

“The group therapy was good. My boyfriend stayed there and did very well,” a loved one wrote. Another loved one gave staff positive ratings overall but wrote: “really needed more time with my loved one but the scholoship ran out of time.”
