ABOUT WHITE HOUSE RECOVERY CENTERS
Headquartered in a commercial lot one mile from the coast in Deerfield Beach, Florida, White House Recovery Centers provides outpatient treatment at various levels of intensity, along with accompanying sober living facilities, for adults facing substance use disorders or a dual diagnosis. As one of the 366 private, for-profit rehabs in Florida, the center aims to differentiate itself by offering unique “brain-based” treatment methods.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
The program at White House Recovery Centers employs a total of 10 different neurotherapeutic interventions — including brain-mapping, neurofeedback, electromagnetic stimulation, and transcranial electrical stimulation — to comprehend and address underlying issues in the brain’s processes that could contribute to substance abuse.
Clients begin treatment with a comprehensive assessment of their neuropsychology (i.e., the state and physical health of their brain), as well as a biopsychosocial evaluation. These findings are utilized to design an eight-week individualized program that incorporates three group therapy sessions per week, individual therapy with PhD-level psychologists, case management, and, if necessary, psychiatric services to address any co-occurring disorders.
The center offers a four-week partial hospitalization program (PHP), an eight-week intensive outpatient program (IOP), and standard outpatient care. White House Recovery Centers can also provide support for a range of mental health disorders on an independent, outpatient basis.
STAFF CREDENTIALS
White House’s treatment team comprises a licensed clinical psychologist, a licensed mental health counselor with a Ph.D. level of education, a group facilitator, and a case manager.
ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES
Clients receive treatment at the treatment center and reside in one of three sober living complexes, each located 15 minutes from the beach. There is a men’s unit and a women’s unit, each consisting of three separate bungalows with their own living room and kitchen. Additionally, there is a separate co-ed home. At all facilities, residents share bedrooms and have access to on-site WiFi and laundry facilities. Each center is staffed 24 hours a day by individuals with extensive recovery experience who arrange outings such as barbecues and beach trips.
