ABOUT LIGHTHOUSE RECOVERY INSTITUTE
Located in Boynton Beach, Florida, Lighthouse Recovery Institute offers a complete range of services for adults struggling with substance abuse, co-occurring disorders, trauma, and eating disorders. All treatment is provided in a therapeutic environment, and clients may choose from partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient treatment (IOP), or outpatient treatment (OP). Sober living accommodations are available, as well as aftercare. Detox services are not provided onsite.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
Lighthouse Recovery Institute specializes in working with young men and women aged 18 to 25 who have experienced chronic relapses and multiple treatment episodes.
The gender-specific partial hospitalization program (PHP) offers the most structured and intensive option, requiring clients to spend at least 25 hours per week in treatment. Individual counseling, group therapy, family therapy, 12-step work, relapse prevention activities, and educational workshops covering life skills and overall health are all included. Case management services are also available.
Intensive outpatient (IOP) treatment serves as a transitional level of care between PHP and OP. Therapeutic activities and counseling sessions are flexible, allowing clients to attend school or work while receiving care.
Standard outpatient treatment, which is less time-intensive than IOP, is typically the final stage of treatment before discharge. It consists of one group and one individual counseling session per week, with evening sessions available.
All program graduates are eligible for aftercare, which focuses on life skills, employment, education, and relapse prevention. Clients continue to learn independent living skills, stress coping techniques, and strategies for sustaining positive social interactions.

According to the center’s website, the staff comprises doctors, psychiatrists, addictionologists, licensed therapists, a registered dietitian, mental health technicians, interventionists, and other treatment specialists.
ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES
The center’s sober living accommodations, which are supervised 24 hours a day, house up to 28 individuals. The residences feature apartment-style living and are located within a mile of the beach.
Clients typically share a bedroom with one other resident and have access to a furnished communal space and a full kitchen. Yoga classes and other fitness activities are regularly offered.
