ABOUT CAP QUALITY CARE
CAP Quality Care in Southern Maine provides outpatient treatment for adults and teens dealing with opiate addiction. The center is operated by the Center for Addictive Problems (CAP) that operates two other locations in Illinois.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
CAP Quality Care offers opiate treatment through methadone maintenance, counseling sessions, support groups, and crisis intervention on an outpatient basis. Teens under the age of 17 require parent/guardian consent.
An assessment compiled by a doctor, nurse, and counselor is used to determine treatment plans. Clients will meet one-on-one with a counselor and must attend treatment seven days a week for the first 90 days.
Group therapy sessions are offered 40 to 50 times per month and cover topics including anger management, pain management, communication, recovery skills, parenting, and addiction education. Special groups are offered for mothers, fathers, and women. Hepatitis C and HIV education and referral is offered.
STAFF CREDENTIALS
CAP Quality Care employs a medical director and physicians, nurses, counselors, and licensed social workers.
