From a strip mall in the small town of District Heights, western Maryland, Fields & Fields Treatment Center offers Christian-based outpatient counseling for adults, adolescents, and children struggling with behavioral health problems including substance abuse and domestic violence.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
Fields & Fields aims to treat “individuals who have made decisions that have caused challenges or unbearable obstacles in their life.” Clients often come to Fields & Fields feeling hopeless and out of control, and the center aims to get to the root of each client’s disorder and to treat the whole person, including their support network, family, character, and thought processes. In increasing intensity, they are an early intervention service, general outpatient treatment, and an intensive outpatient (IOP) program. For all programs, the primary methods of treatment are individual and family counseling.
The center also offers psychiatric rehabilitation services, including the development of self-care and social skills, community living skills, and independent living skills. Specialized services include DUI/DWI programming, anger management classes, and parenting classes.
The center is closed on Saturdays, and open by appointment only on Sundays.
