Meridian Health Services is a reputable behavioral health provider in Indiana, with multiple facilities located in Winchester and New Castle. Our organization is dedicated to delivering exceptional medical and behavioral health care, as well as essential human services such as job skills training, foster care, and support for independent living. We are proud to serve the community of Muncie, Eastern Indiana, through our Suzanne Gresham Center, which specializes in outpatient and home-based services for children facing emotional and behavioral challenges, including addiction.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
The Suzanne Gresham Center operates under the Systems of Care model, which facilitates collaboration among various agencies and supportive sources to promote the wellbeing of children and their families. Our treatment approach focuses on keeping families together, or reunifying them, while also providing foster care placements when necessary.
We offer outpatient counseling services in individual, group, and family settings. Additionally, the Suzanne Gresham Center provides support within children’s homes. Our Community Alternative to Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facilities (CA-PRTF) program is designed for individuals aged six to 20 who require intensive support, including treatment for substance abuse problems. We also offer an intensive outpatient program (IOP) tailored specifically for teens struggling with problematic alcohol and drug use.

One anonymous reviewer who has been receiving treatment at our facility for eight years expressed great satisfaction with the “very nice staff.” They gave the facility a five-star rating in all 15 evaluated treatment metrics, including treatment effectiveness, family participation, holistic offerings, counseling options, and ability to treat co-occurring disorders.
