Castlewood II Treatment Center – St. Louis is one of Castlewood’s two residential facilities in the St. Louis area. It provides comprehensive treatment for individuals aged 16 and older who are struggling with eating disorders such as anorexia, bulimia, and binge eating. The program also offers treatment for co-occurring substance abuse disorders and/or mental health disorders, including anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder. Additionally, there is a transitional living program for clients participating in outpatient treatment located on campus.

TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT

The clinical team at Castlewood II Treatment Center – St. Louis aims to treat clients’ symptoms and address underlying issues through therapy. The typical treatment duration is between two to four months, but can be extended if necessary.

Treatment at the center is intensive, individualized, and tailored specifically for clients with eating disorders. Medical care and support are available around the clock, provided by a team of nurses. Furthermore, the center provides a three-day long family program every six weeks, which includes psychoeducational groups for loved ones and multi-family group therapy sessions.

Castlewood II Treatment Center – St. Louis offers specialized eating disorder treatment programs for males and LGBT individuals. The center incorporates gender neutral language throughout programming and considers issues of gender and sexual identity during treatment.
