ABOUT GUIDED LIFE STRUCTURES
Guided Life Structures in Somerville, N.J., offers outpatient and intensive outpatient (IOP) treatment for adults and adolescents dealing with drug and alcohol abuse and co-occurring conditions. The facility is one of 330 (88.9 percent) facilities in New Jersey providing outpatient treatment. Guided Life Structures accepts clients involved with the criminal justice system, drug court, and on probation.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
Clients will receive a psychological assessment upon admission to determine the level of care needed. Treatment at Guided Life Structures is based on the 12-steps, which includes Alcohol Anonymous meetings and fellowship literature. The center also implements medication-assisted treatment (MAT) as well as individual, group, adolescent, and family counseling. Gender-specific counseling groups are available, as are specialized sessions for women.
Education on anger management, relapse prevention training, and life skills training is also provided.
Clients will be subject to drug and alcohol testing throughout treatment.
