ABOUT NEW BEGINNINGS RECOVERY SERVICES
New Beginnings Recovery Services is a drug and alcohol addiction rehab based in Mansfield, Ohio. Operated under the nonprofit called The Rehab Center, this program provides 12-step based outpatient and residential care for adults struggling with substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders.
Detox and medication-assisted therapy are offered here as are special language services* for the hearing-impaired.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
According to the center’s website, this 12-step based outpatient treatment program is designed for adults aged 18 and older with addiction and co-occurring mental health issues. After an initial screening, clients receive an assessment which helps inform the appropriate level of care.
Substance abuse treatment consists of individual counseling and group therapy while those with co-occurring issues have access to integrated dual-diagnosis treatment (IDDT).
Referrals can also be made for residential treatment for those seeking a more intensive level of care. At the residential facility, individuals take part in both individual and group therapy, education groups, case management services, housing and employment services, and 12-step meetings. Following residential care, clients are transferred to outpatient services as a form of aftercare.

Licensed chemical dependency professionals run the individual counseling and group therapy sessions, according to the center’s website.
WHAT ALUMNI SAY
To date, Best-rehabs.com has received mixed feedback from two alumni. One, who chose to remain anonymous, claimed that they were “forced into” rehab. “The worst part was that it was in the wrost drug area in town,” they told Best-rehabs.com. However, they also gave five stars in indicating how strongly they’d recommend treatment and when asked about the staff’s level of training and experience.
The other alum, K.M.P., gave a five-star rating for the facility’s counseling options and treatment effectiveness and described the facility as an “Affordable faith based very loving community.”

The two individuals surveyed by Best-rehabs.com on their loved one’s treatment experiences both shared positive feedback. They provided four and five stars when asked if they would recommend New Beginnings Recovery Services. They also gave four stars for a variety of metrics including treatment effectiveness, accommodations, holistic offerings, and counseling options.
While one felt that the center’s strength was its “helpfulness” the other found it to be the “very experienced staff.”

According to CiteHealth this facility accepts Medicaid and private insurance. Payment assistance is offered via an income-based, sliding fee scale, and Richland county residents in need of detox may be eligible for financial assistance.
